Post 1 – Mechanical Engineering Apprentices

We are looking to recruit up to four new Mechanical Engineering Apprentices to join our team of existing apprentices, operatives and experienced mechanical engineers.

If you are interested in an engineering apprenticeship with a forward thinking growing company,  details about the role can be found on the government apprenticeship website – link below.

Post 2 – Confined Space Technician

PMP Utilities have been working safely for the utilities companies since 1993, providing specialist engineering within confined spaces and rescue from confined spaces.

We’re looking for people who will be able to support our engineers whilst on site. They can be working inside pipes, tanks, wet wells, for example, and on heavy industrial pieces of machinery such as pumps, valves and penstocks.

Experience of working on utility type sites would be advantageous and ideally you’ll have Confined Space Training, Water Hygiene and SHEA water cards.

This is specialist work and you need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work efficiently and responsibly in often difficult environments. You’ll need to be a hands on practical type of person and be capable of representing the company in a professional and responsible manner.

The role is based out of our Burnley office so a full drivers licence would be helpful. If not, you must be able to commute to the BB11 area daily.

Due to the nature of the clients we work for and the sites we work on, we operate a zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy and every new employee must undergo a D&A test prior to joining the company.

If you think you fit the bill and would like be part of our hardworking and friendly team, please send your CV to
